Hall of Fame
Torre was a four-year student-athlete for the FDU-Florham softball program from 2015 to 2018, starting 141 of the 142 games she played in throughout her collegiate career. While she may not top every record in the book, her consistent performance and impact on the program are undeniable. Torre etched her name into both the single-season and career record lists, ranking fifth all-time for single-season at-bats (129) and runs scored (38), and second in both hits (53) and home runs (10) in a single season. Over the span of her career, Torre compiled impressive numbers placing her on the list of being third all-time in hits (170), fourth in at-bats (443), third in runs scored (113), second in home runs (24), fourth in doubles (30). She carried a career batting average of .384 and added 6 triples, 92 RBIs, and drew 32 walks.
Her excellence extended beyond the diamond. Torre earned numerous accolades on the field, including NFCA Second Team All-Region, two All-MAC Freedom First Team selections and one All-MAC Freedom Second Team honor. Her time in the classroom assisted her performances on the field as she was also named the MAC Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, a MAC Senior Scholar, an All-MAC Academic Team honoree, and a two-time CoSIDA All-Region Team (now known as CSC Academic All-District).
Torre's dedication was also evident in the classroom. A mathematics major, she was inducted into the Math Honor Society and Pi Mu Epsilon and earned honor roll distinction in all eight semesters at FDU. In 2018, she was honored with the prestigious Dr. Ken Greene Scholar Athlete Award, recognizing her academic excellence.
