Marc Borak, class of 1968, was a member of both the FDU men's basketball and men's lacrosse teams. As a freshman in the 1964-65 season, Borak finished the season third on the team in points-per-game with 10.6. In his second season at FDU, Borak raised his scoring to 16-2 points-per-game, which was good enough for second-best on the team. In the 1966-67 season, Borak added 7.7 points-per-game to the Devils squad that finished with a 15-9 record.
Borak wrapped up his FDU career in 1967-68 as the fourth player in team history to score 1,000 points. Borak was instrumental in the success of the 1967-68 Devils who finished the season 18-6. Borak concluded his time at FDU with 1,042 points which stands as the 24th best all-time in program history.Â
He also was a starting midfielder on the men's lacrosse team his junior and season seasons, as the Devils went 22-8 in those two years.
Professionally, Borak is retired from his career of being CEO and President of Borax Paper Products Inc. Borak has also been active in the real estate industry in New York City.
Currently, Marc lives with his wife of 50 years and FDU alumnus Phllis Denmark. Marc has two daughters; Jennifer and Amy, and three grandsons; Isaiah, Spencer and Able.Â
