Kevin Dowd was a four-year letterwinner and was the Male Athlete of the Year in 1996-97.

Kevin was named Team MVP in 1995, 1996 and 1997. He was First Team All-MAC in 1996 and 1997 while also being named MAC Co-MVP in 1997. Also in 1997, he earned Hudson Valley League Player of the Year honors. Dowd is eighth All-Time on the FDU career points scored list with 204.

After college, Kevin played and coached lacrosse in Australia for six months. He also played in the World Lacrosse Games in 2002, also in Australia, where he was a midfielder for the first Irish National Lacrosse team. He led the midfielders in scoring during the Games while also being a member of the All-Ireland Lacrosse Association for the three years, serving as a board member for one year. In 2003, he toured Ireland with the team and helped launch several grass roots programs that still exist today.

In 2005 and 2006, Kevin was an assistant coach for the Albertus Magnus High School varsity team where he helped lead the squad to second round of the Section 1 playoffs in 2006. Currently, he's married to his wife Terri and is a Senior Sales Professional with Sanofi-Aventis pharmaceuticals.
