Frank Plefka, a four year letter winner, played from 1990-1993. He holds the single season passing record with 2,216 yards and ranks second on the career passing yardage list with 3,718.
Plefka holds the record for most passing touchdowns in a game with five, a feat he achieved twice. His 24 touchdowns in 1993 is a school record, and he holds fifth place on the single season touchdown list as well with 11. His career total of 35 touchdowns is the most ever in school history.
Plefka holds the school’s single season for completion percentage with a .499 mark. He also holds third place with a completion percentage of .466.
He ranks second on the career completion list with 273. Plefka’s 148 completions in 1993 ranks as the second highest total all-time in team history. His 116 completions in 1992 season ranks fifth. His 22 completions in one game ranks seventh all-time.
Plefka is the head football coach at Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, NJ.
