Billy King was a four-year star for the men's golf team from 2009-2013. In his senior season at FDU, King served as a captain on the 2013 team that captured the MAC Freedom Men's Golf Championship. 

Billy's performance in the conference tournament earned him the distinction of the 2013 MAC Freedom Individual Champion. Under the direction of former Devils Head Coach and Associate Director of Athletics Roger Kindel, Billy was never part of a team that finished below third place in the conference. In the 2009-10 season, Billy was awarded Rookie of the Year in a season in which the Devils garnered 11 total wins, and a MAC Freedom third-place finish. During his junior season in Florham Park, Billy was awarded the Devils Team MVP, as the team finished second place in their conference and won the Misericordia Championship for the second straight year. 

During the 2013 championship season, Billy was named MAC Freedom Player of the Year and and First Team All-Conference. Billy also captured two individual wins at the Centenary College Invitational and the MAC Freedom championship. The Devils were crowned MAC Freedom Champions and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in Dustin, Fla.

Professionally, Billy is licensed in series 7, 66 and 9, and works as a Compliance Analyst for Merrill. In December of 2018, Billy married fellow FDU graduate Lindsay Messina. Billy currently resides in Flemington, NJ.
