Breana Norton was a four-year standout for Head Coach Adrienne Carr and the FDU women's lacrosse team from 2009-2012. Breana was a team captain on the 2013 MAC Freedom championship, as well as a member of three teams that qualified for ECAC Tournament.
Breana's contributions on the field were noticed right away as she was awarded team Rookie of the Year for the 2009 season. In her second season at FDU, Breana received conference honors as an honorable mention on 2010 All-MAC Freedom Team. In her junior season, Breana broke through the 100-goal plateau and was awarded a spot on the MAC Sportsmanship Team and All-MAC Freedom Second Team. In the 2012 championship season, Breana was awarded the Robert T. Shields Athlete of the Year, FDU Women's Lacrosse Most Valuable Player, MAC Freedom Conference Player of the Year, and MAC Freedom Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player. Breana also received a spot on the All-MAC Freedom First Team and First Team All-Boardwalk Region.
Breana ended her career at the top of many FDU records. Breana's 189 career goals put her second all--time in program history, her 168 career ground balls were good enough to rank her at fifth, and her 118 caused turnovers was good enough to rank her third. Breana also ranks throughout the FDU All-Time single-season goals and points with 67 and 84 a piece. In her career, she ranked 20th nationally in caused turnovers, 36th in goals, 53rd in points, 74th in goals per game, 81st in ground balls, 100th in points per game, 198th in assists. Upon graduation, she was awarded the 2013 FDU Woman of the Year at the 21st Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Breana's historic career landed her on the MAC Freedom All-Century Team.
She works as a Media Manager with Harmelin Media in Philadelphia. In September 2018, Kilpatrick married FDU Alumni Andrew Norton & currently resides in Cinnaminson, NJ.Â
