The 2002 FDU-Florham baseball team produced the second most wins in program history with a record of 31-9 under the direction of head coach and MAC Freedom Coach of the Year Doug Radziewicz. The Devils won the MAC Freedom Regular Season title and were crowned Champions of the 2002 ECAC Baseball Tournament.

In 2002, the Devils were guided by All-MAC Freedom First Team pitcher Chris Bartz as well as All-MAC Second Team honorees Kevin Monell (catcher), Mike Piccolo (second base), Thomas Calistri (third base), Mike Del Vecchio (shortstop), Mike Trapani (outfield) and Ken Jones (pitcher).

Calistri paced FDU offensively in 2002 with five home runs and 41 RBI, while Bartz led the Devils on the mound with a record of 8-2, 46 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.55 in 11 appearances. The eight wins for Bartz still holds as the single season record on the Florham Campus.

FDU claimed the ECAC Championship with an 18-5 win over the College of Staten Island and a 9-1 victory over Old Westbury.
