Katherine Springmeyer-Paglio was a four-year letterwinner, Team MVP in both 2004 and 2005, and FDU's Female Athlete of the Year in 2005-06.
As a senior, Springmeyer was named Freedom Conference Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Mid-Atlantic Region while garnering Second Team All-Conference honors as a junior. She is fourth All-Time in career goals (31), fourth All-Time in single-season goals (14), fifth All-Time in career points (73), tied for fifth All-Time in single-season points (30), and tied for fifth All-Time in single-season goals (13).
After graduating from FDU, Kate was the catering manager at Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center for four years where she earned the Rising Star Award for all of Destination Hotels and Resorts. She was recently promoted to Corporate Group Sales Manager and also volunteers for Special Olympics and is currently organizing a team for Walk To End Alzheimer's. She is married to FDU alumnus Chris Paglio and living in Hoboken.
