Hall of Fame
The 2010 FDU-Florham Devils Women's Lacrosse Team made history with a remarkable 16-6 season, highlighted by their second appearance in the MAC Freedom Championship and their second ECAC Championship title.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Adrienne Carr, the Devils entered the MAC Freedom Tournament as the No. 3 seed, following an impressive 10-2 conference record. They opened the postseason with a commanding 20-11 win over sixth-seeded Eastern University in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, FDU avenged a regular-season loss to second-seeded Messiah, pulling off a key 11-8 upset to advance to the championship game. Although they fell 11-4 to top-seeded Elizabethtown in the final, their season was far from over.
Awarded the No. 1 seed in the ECAC Tournament, the Devils defeated fourth-seeded Alvernia 19-15 in the semifinals. They closed out their season on a high note, capturing the program's second ECAC Championship with a 12-8 victory over Washington & Jefferson.
The 2010 season also saw numerous team and individual records fall, with several Devils earning prestigious accolades. Headlining the honors was 2025 FDU Devils Hall of Fame inductee Lindsay Parent (BA '11, MA '12), who was named to the Womenlacrosse.com All-American Third Team, as well as the All-Region First Team and All-MAC Freedom First Team. She was joined by standout teammates Jackie Gale (BA '10) and Stefaine Sanzari (BA '11), who also received All-MAC Freedom and All-Region recognition for their contributions to the team's historic run.
