Burt Klein played men's soccer for the FDU Jersey Devils from 1964-67, after a brief stint with Auburn Community College. During his career, Klein scored 25 goals and had 15 assists for 65 points in 1967 to set a single season school record that still stands today. Originally from Oldenburg, Germany, Klein was named Honorable Mention All-Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Delaware in 1967. He owns the FDU record for goals in a game with six and set the record for assists in a game with five, both against LaSalle in 1967. For his incredible efforts in that game, he set the FDU record for points in a single game with 17. Klein also owns the record for assists in a season with 15 in 1967 and the record for assists in a career with 30. He is second at FDU for points in a career with 90.
