Hall of Fame
A cornerstone of the most successful era in FDU-Florham Women's Basketball history, McDonough left an extraordinary legacy during her four-year career from 2013 to 2017. A model of consistency, leadership, and elite play making, McDonough was a four-year varsity letter winner and a pivotal figure in the program's national prominence.
McDonough helped launch her collegiate career in historic fashion, playing a key role on the 2013–14 National Championship Team that finished with a perfect 33–0 record — the first NCAA title in program history. Over the course of her career, her teams compiled an incredible 108–13 overall record, leading the Devils to four consecutive MAC Freedom Conference Championships.
She remains etched in the program record books as the all-time leader in assists (408), 3rd in three-point field goals attempted (477), 4th in three-point field goals made (152), 5th in free-throw percentage (77.1%), 5th in career points scored (1,485), and just one of just 17 players in program history to surpass the 1,000-point milestone. Her individual accolades are as impressive as her team's successes, as she held an All-MAC Freedom selection every season, including First Team honors and MAC Freedom Honorable Mention, First Team All-Atlantic Region, and WBCA All-American Honorable Mention.
Alyssa's impact on and off the court helped define a dynasty and set the foundation for future success. Her induction into the Hall of Fame is a fitting tribute to one of the most accomplished student-athletes in FDU Women's Basketball history.
