Chris Hendershot was a two-year letterwinner, a two-time Team MVP and FDU's Male Athlete of the Year in 2004-05.
After transferring from Sussex County College, Hendershot was named First Team All-Freedom Conference in both of his seasons at FDU. As a senior, he was also a Jostens Award finalist. Among his records at FDU, Hendershot scored 1,008 points in two years which is good for 25th All-Time. He is also first All-Time in single-season field goal percentage (.627), first All-Time in career field goal percentage (.602), first All-Time in single-season free throws made (175), first All-Time in single-season free throw attempts (215), fourth All-Time in single-season points (590), and fourth All-Time in career free throw percentage (.786).
After college, Chris played one season with the Jersey Express and plays in the JSBL Summer League. He is currently a Corrections Officer for the State of New Jersey and is married to former FDU women's basketball player Jessica Heulitt. They reside in Basking Ridge, NJ.
