Megan McInaw

Megan McInaw has had a decorated softball career dating back to her first year of high school in 2005. She was an All-Somerset County selection three times and was named an All-Group 4 choice three years, including a First Team selection in 2008.
 
Megan made an immediate impact at FDU, picking FDU Softball Rookie of the Year honors in 2009. During her sophomore campaign, she was recognized by the NFCA as a Third Team All-Region selection, in addition to being named First Team All-MAC Freedom and All-ECAC. Megan shined in 2011, gaining MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Year accolades in addition to being named First Team All-Conference.
 
She closed out her career in 2012, earning her third straight All-MAC Freedom and All-ECAC selection. Academically, she was a two-time NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete while also being named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll in 2011.
 
Megan is second on the single-season home runs list with 10 in 2010 and her 17 career blasts are fourth. She also is third on the career-list with 31 doubles and second with 105 runs batted in. In the circle, she made 79 appearances which are third all-time, while her 451 2/3 innings pitched are also third. Megan also is fourth with 424 strikeouts and 33 career victories.
 
Currently, Megan is in her sixth year as a 5th grade Mathematics Teacher in the Somerset Hills School District. She is one of two fifth grade math teachers, teaching Math in Focus. Additionally, she is her second year as a grade level team leader at the middle school, which provides organization leadership and support to all teachers within the 5th grade level. She also is in her third year as Assistant High School Varsity Softball Coach.
 
Megan married Erik Froysland in July 2016 and is the proud step-mother to eight-year old Emma.
