The 2013-2014 FDU-Florham Women's Basketball team had the most prolific season in the history of FDU Devils Athletics. The team went a perfect 33-0 and brought home the first and only NCAA National Championship in the department's history.
Led by Head Coach Marc Mitchell, The Devils earned a birth in the NCAA Tournament after defeating DeSales University, 69-59, the MAC Freedom Conference Championship. The team went into the NCAA Tournament as the fifth-ranked team in the country and went through Wells College, Messiah College, Baldwin-Wallace University, Montclair State University, and Tufts University to make it to the National Championship game where they faced off against Whitman College. The Devils pulled off the 80-72 victory, making history as the first and only winner of the National Championship trophy in FDU-Florham Athletics' history, as well as completing a perfect 33-0 season.
