Lisa Lewis was a four-year letterwinner and the 2001-02 Female Athlete of the Year.
She was named Team MVP in all four of her years, along with being named First Team All-Freedom Conference in 2001. Lewis is currently third All-Time in career kills with 912.
After graduating from FDU with a BA and an MA in Psychology, she has been working as a mental health therapist. Currently residing in Boston, Lisa runs an outpatient substance abuse program at Caritas St. Elizabeth's Hospital while also teaching two spin classes a week for Boston Sports Clubs. Lewis is also pursuing a Doctoral degree in Sports Psychology at Boston University where she is completeing an internship working with college level soccer, basketball and softball teams on mental skills and performance enhancement. She has also had the opportunity to work with a psychological consulting firm with the New York Giants.
