Fedeli served as the Head Softball Coach at FDU-Florham for 21 seasons, from 1999 to 2020. During his tenure, he amassed an overall record of 341–408–1, making him the third-winningest coach in program history among those with over 100 games coached, and compiling a career winning percentage of .455.

Under his leadership, the Devils reached the postseason nine times, including eight MAC Freedom Playoff appearances, two MAC Freedom Championship series, eleven ECAC playoff games, and a berth in an ECAC Championship series. Notably, from 2005–2008, Fedeli guided the program to four consecutive MAC Freedom Tournament appearances, marking a historic stretch for FDU-Florham softball.

Fedeli was a three-time Coach of the Year and played a significant role in the development of standout student-athletes. His tenure saw 17 players earn First Team All-Conference honors, five Major MAC Award recipients (Nikki Caruso, Megan McInaw, Sarah Lima, Christine Heyl, and Kelly Nover), and nine inductees into the FDU Devils Hall of Fame, including Brittni Adams, Cara Boseski, Nikki Caruso, Kelly James, Wynne McCann, Megan McInaw, Kelly Nover, Jamie Peterson, and Jen Russomanno.

Beyond the diamond, Fedeli contributed deeply to the campus community. He taught a freshman seminar course for over two decades and served as the head coach of the cross-country team from 2009 to 2017. Known for his passion both on and off the field, Coach Fedeli left an enduring legacy of leadership, mentorship, and commitment to FDU-Florham athletics and academics.
