Hall of Fame
Mike Exum played basketball from 1982-86. He was named the campus’ Male Athlete of the Year in 1985-86.
Twice he was selected as team MVP, earning that honor in 1984-85 and 1985-86. Exum ranks sixth on the Devils’ all-time leading scoring list with 1,381 points. He ranks seventh on the career field goals made list with 522 and 10th on the free throws made career list with 256.
Exum is the Manager of Health and Welfare for Agere Systems, a spinoff of Lucent Technologies. He has served as an assistant coach at Raritan Valley Community College. Exum currently referees in recreational leagues and works with grammar school students in instructional basketball leagues.
Exum has two children, Michael Lamar Belvin and Courtney Rene Exum.
