Lindsey Specht is a four-year letter winner as a member of the Devils women’s lacrosse team.
Specht completed her illustrious career with a long list of accolades including: First Team All-Boardwalk Region (2008), Member of North/South All-Star Game (2008), Third Team Women’slacrosse.com All-American (2008), First Team All-MAC (2007-2008), and Second Team All-MAC (2006).
The former Devils midfielder is among the career statistical leaders in the program’s 15-year history, as well as, ranking first in caused turnovers (137), second in groundballs (187), fourth in goals scored (156) and fifth in draw controls (133).
Lindsey is currently a teacher and coach at the Franklin Towne Charter School, where she has taught Algebra 2 and AP Calculus for the last three years. Her field hockey team has made it to playoffs every year since she became the coach. She has been running in races about once a month for the past year and finished second place overall in a 5K in Jenkintown, Pa. She also ran the Broad Street Run in Philadelphia, as well as, the Tough Mudder in Pennsylvania and a triathlon in Brigantine, N.J. During the summer, Specht plays in the Philly Women’s Lacrosse League.
