Shalette Brown played on the FDU-Florham women's basketball team from 2013-16 and guided the Devils to the program's first NCAA Division III National Championship crown in 2014, a year that saw FDU-Florham go 33-0 and win the MAC Freedom title under the direction of head coach Marc Mitchell. While Brown played in Madison, FDU racked up 83 wins and three MAC Freedom Championships.

A two-time WBCA All-American, two-time D3Hoops.com All-American and two-time All-MAC Freedom honoree, Brown became the first student-athlete in program history to eclipse 1,000 career rebounds and 1,000 career points as she finished her career with 1,072 rebounds and 1,277 points, respectively.

Brown's name appears all over the FDU-Florham record books as she holds three of the top five marks in single season rebounds (439 – first), three of the top five marks in single season offensive rebounds (164 – first) and ranks fifth in single season steals with 91.
