LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 16) – FDU-Florham Devils Softball graduate student
Erin Sinatra (Colonia, NJ) has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region IV Third Team, becoming the seventh student-athlete in program history to earn the prestigious recognition. Sinatra was among 500 collegiate athletes honored across three teams in ten different regions.
In her first and only season with the Devils, Sinatra posted a 14-8 record across 22 appearances in the circle. She was named both All-MAC Freedom First Team and MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Year for her dominant performance.
Highlights of her standout season include:
- 6 shutout games
- Career milestones of 400 and 500 strikeouts
- Reaching 50 career wins
- A career-high 15 strikeouts in a single game vs. Misericordia
- 179 strikeouts in 143 innings, ranking top-2 in NCAA Division III at one point in the season for most strikeouts.
Despite narrowly missing a MAC Freedom tournament berth, FDU-Florham closed the year with a 22-16 record, marking its most wins in a season since 2013.
