Madison, NJ (January 20) – The FDU-Florham softball team and head coach
Bridget Rafter has announced the program's 2023 schedule which features 38 total games, six home doubleheaders and eight twinbills against Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opponents.

FDU-Florham returns All-MAC Freedom First Team selection
Kristen Tigar (Hazlet, NJ) to the program this spring. Tigar started in 27 games for the Devils, hit .360, added six doubles, posted 12 RBI and notched a slugging percentage of .430.
The Devils will open their 2023 season with ten games in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as part of the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic. FDU-Florham will face Salem State and Maine Presque Isle on March 12, Maine Farmington and SUNY Poly on March 13, Cairn and TCNJ on March 15, Utica and Plattsburgh on March 16, and Curry and Keene State on March 17 before returning north.
FDU-Florham will return to New Jersey for a non-conference doubleheader at Neumann University on March 23. The Devils will then head home to open MAC Freedom play on Saturday, March 25 with a doubleheader against Stevens and then close the month of March with four straight road doubleheaders including games at Montclair State and Lycoming.
April will begin with a MAC Freedom doubleheader against Misericordia (April 1). The remainder of FDU's schedule features four non-conference twinbills against Moravian (April 11), Alvernia (April 16), Saint Elizabeth (April 21), and Centenary (NJ) (April 22). The Devils will play the reminder of their MAC Freedom schedule against Wilkes (April 6), Arcadia (April 15), Delaware Valley (April 19), DeSales (April 26), and Kings (April 29).
The 2022 MAC Freedom Tournament is scheduled for May 4-6 at DVU Softball Field at Delaware University, in Doylestown, Pa. The winner of the MAC Freedom Tournament will receive the league's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division III Softball National Tournament.
