Box Score POMONA, PA - After four postponements, the fourth-seeded College at Florham Devils finally played in the Semifinals of the ECAC Metro Region Tournament on Sunday afternoon but FDU was defeated by top-seeded Richard Stockton by a score of 7-1.

The Devils finish the season with a record of 22-21 while the Ospreys improved to 32-11 and will go on to play in the Championship Game later Sunday afternoon.

Stockton got things going immediately, plating four runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 4-0 lead.  FDU scored their lone run of the game in the top of the fifth thanks to a RBI single by junior shortstop Maggie Murphy but the Ospreys came back with three runs in their half of the fifth to grab a 7-1 advantage.  The Devils were unable to mount a rally in the late innings, allowing Stockton to advance to the Finals.

Freshman first baseman Wynne McCann finished the game 2-for-3 while Murphy and sophomore third baseman Christina Legotti added the other two FDU hits.  Freshman pitcher Sydney Worek suffered the loss, tossing five innings and allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits while striking out four.
