Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 DALLAS, PA - Junior catcher Sarah Lima and freshman first baseman Wynne McCann each homered and drove in two runs to help the College at Florham Devils beat Misericordia, 5-0, in the nightcap of a Freedom Conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon.  The Devils were defeated by the Cougars in Game One by a count of 2-1.

With the split, the Devils are now 9-9 (4-2 Freedom) while the Cougars are 5-13 (1-5 Freedom).

GAME ONE - FDU got on the board first with a run in the top of the first inning thanks to a RBI fielder's choice from Lima.  Misericordia scored their two runs in the bottom of the fifth and hung on to the lead the rest of the way to pick up the win.

GAME TWO - The Devils scored all five of their runs in the top of the third inning on a RBI double from junior outfielder Brittni Wurst and two-run home runs from Lima and McCann.  Freshman pitcher Sydney Worek took over from there, tossing a complete game two-hit shutout while striking out nine batters.

Aside from Lima and McCann, junior shortstop Maggie Murphy finished the game 2-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored.

The Devils return to action on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Delaware Valley beginning at noon.
