Box Score 2 MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils lost both games of a non-conference doubleheader to Centenary on Monday afternoon, losing the first game by a score of 4-0 before falling in the nightcap by a count of 5-1. The second game ended in six innings due to darkness.
With the losses, the Devils dropped to 7-5 on the season.
GAME ONE - Centenary got on the board with a run in the top of the first before adding two runs in the top of the fifth. The Cyclones made it 4-0 in the top of the seventh to seal the win. Sophomore catcher
Sarah Lima went 2-for-3 while senior pitcher
Megan McInaw suffered the loss, tossing seven innings and allowing four runs (two earned) on seven hits.
GAME TWO - The Cyclones again got on the board with run in the top of the first inning before the Devils tied it at 1-1 in the bottom of the third thanks to a RBI single from freshman outfielder
Sam Trotta. Centenary came back with one in the fifth and two in the sixth to earn the sweep. Junior pitcher
Karla Babb took the loss, going five innings and allowing four runs on six hits.
The Devils return to action on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at Rutgers-Newark beginning at 4 pm.
