WILKES-BARRE, PA - The second-seeded College at Florham Devils were knocked off by fourth-seeded Manhattanville, 3-2, in an elimination game in the Freedom Conference Tournament on Saturday morning.

With the loss, the Devils finish their season with a record of 14-19 while the Valiants improved to 15-17 and will go on to play top-seeded DeSales in another elimination game.

Manhattanville jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning on two solo home runs but the Devils came back to tie it at 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning on a two-run single by freshman catcher Sarah Lima.  The Valiants came right back though, plating the game-winning run in the top of the sixth inning.  FDU got the lead-off man on base in the bottom of the seventh and had runners on first and second with two outs but could not push across the tying run.

Lima finished the game 2-for-2 with two RBI while freshman outfielder Maggie Murphy went 2-for-3.  Sophomore pitcher Karla Babb suffered the loss in relief, tossing four innings and allowing one run (unearned) on six hits.
