HACKETTSTOWN, NJ - The College at Florham Devils split a non-conference doubleheader with Centenary on Tuesday afternoon, winning Game One by a score of 8-0 (6) before dropping the nightcap by a count of 6-0.
With the split, the Devils now stand at 3-9.
GAME ONE - The Devils got on the board immediately thanks to a two-run single by junior pitcher
Megan McInaw in the top of the first inning. FDU added four more in the fourth on a Centenary error, a two-run double by McInaw, and a RBI double from freshman catcher
Sarah Lima. FDU put the game away with solo runs in the fifth and sixth innings on a Cyclone error and a RBI single by sophomore second baseman
Christine Antoniotti.
McInaw finished the game 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and four RBI while also earning the win on the mound, tossing six innings and allowing no runs on four hits while striking out seven. Junior outfielder

Elizabeth Spiller all had two hits.
GAME TWO - It was Centenary's turn to get off to a quick start, as the Cyclones plated three runs in the first and one in the second to take a 4-0 lead. Centenary then finished the scoring with two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
FDU's offense went quiet, as the Devils could only muster four hits with two of them coming by way of Lima. Golembiewski suffered the loss on the mound, going 2.1 innings and allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at home against Eastern beginning at 1 pm.
