CLERMONT, FL - The College at Florham Devils dropped both games of a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon on the second day of their Florida Spring Break Trip.  FDU lost Game One to Rhode Island College, 3-1, before dropping the nightcap to Berry College, 8-0 (6).

With the losses, the Devils dropped to 1-3.

GAME ONE - Junior pitcher Megan McInaw tossed a complete game seven innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on six hits while striking out six but it wasn't enough as the Devils fell to Rhode Island College, 3-1.  McInaw also produced the lone run of the game at the plate for FDU when she drove in junior outfielder Ronica Sorice.

GAME TWO - Sophomore pitcher Karla Babb started and suffered the loss, allowing three runs (zero earned) on four hits in two innings.  Junior pitcher Megan Golembiewski pitched the final 3.2 innings in relief, allowing five runs (two earned) on seven hits.  The Devils mustered only two hits on offense in the 8-0 (6) loss to Berry.

The Devils return to action on Thursday, March 17, 2011, against Ithaca at 1 pm and Ripon at 3 pm.
