CLERMONT, FL - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by SUNY Geneseo, 4-3 (8), and Keene State, 4-1, on the fifth day of their Spring Break Trip on Friday afternoon.

With the losses, the Devils dropped to 2-8.

GENESEO - Geneseo took a 2-0 lead after the top of the fourth inning but the Devils scored one run in the bottom of the fourth to cut it to 2-1.  Geneseo tacked on one run in the top of the fifth but the Devils came back to tie it at 3-3 in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings.  Geneseo scored in their half of the eighth and the Devils couldn't muster anything in the bottom half, allowing Geneseo to pick up the win.

Sophomore pitcher Megan Golembiewski (Beacon, NY/Beacon) suffered the loss, allowing four runs (two earned) on nine hits in eight innings.  Sophomore designated hitter Megan McInaw (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) had two hits and two RBI while sophomore outfielder Ronica Sorice (Belleville, NJ/Belleville) had two hits and a run scored.

KEENE STATE - FDU got on the board first with a run in the top of the second inning but Keene State came back to score all four of their runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn the win.

McInaw tossed 5.2 innings, allowing four runs on six hits.  Golembiewski belted a double and scored a run while freshman first baseman Elizabeth Spiller (Babylon, NY/St. John the Baptist) had a RBI single.

The Devils return to action on Saturday, March 20, 2010, for the final pair of games on their Spring Break Trip.  FDU takes on Wisconsin-Whitewater beginning at 1:30 pm and Carleton beginning at 3:30 pm.
