EWING, N.J. - The FDU-Florham outdoor track & field team competed in the TCNJ Invitational Thursday afternoon to Saturday afternoon.
 
Devils Highlights

• Junior Nashawn Presley started off the meet for the Devils, running in the 100m event and recording a new personal best time of 11.26. In the men's 200m event, two athletes finished with new season best times while four athletes finished with new personal best times. Juniors Nathaniel Evely and Nathaniel Perrelli both finished with new season best times, with Evely placing 13^th and finishing with a time of 22.75 and Perrelli finishing with a time of 23.62. Junior Ty Wagner, sophomore Lucas Sorrentino, Senior Dehjan Lee and first year Carlos Lopez all finished with new personal best times. Wagner finished with a time of 23.74, Sorrentino finished with a time of 24.08, Lee finished with a time of 24.09 and Lopez finished with a time of 25.38. In the women's 200m event, senior Bianca Burke finished eighth with a final time of 25.86.
• In the 400m event, Burke once again tops the charts as she placed second with a final time of 58.59. Additionally, juniors Samantha Castellano and Mai Purse both recorded new personal best times in the event, with Castellano finishing with a time of 1:14.39 and Purse finishing with a time of 1:15.29. Senior Shane Breedlove recorded a new season best time in the 400m hurdles, finishing eighth with a time of 1:03.85. In the 800m event, sophomore Kirushnavarshini Ranjan and Purse both recorded new personal bests. Ranjan finished with a final time of 2:40.32 while Purse finished with a final time of 3:07.03. In the heptathlon side of the 800m, sophomore Meghan Kreinberg finished sixth with a new personal best time of 2:41.89. Rounding out the track events, senior Emmanuel Torode finished the 1500m event with a new season best time of 4:33.95.
• In the field events, senior Tytus Toliver kicked things off by placing fifth in the discus throw with a final distance of 38.79 meters. Junior Irem Ucar took eighth in the women's side of this event, finishing with a final distance of 30.72 meters. In the men's high jump, first year Anthony Collier dominated the event, placing first with a new 2026 NCAA ranked height of 2.01 meters. With this height, Collier also manages to break the FDU outdoor high jump record, beating out D'Maari Brown who held a record height of 1.92 meters. Sophomore Alex Coles and junior Kai James also competed in the event, finishing in fifth and sixth place with new personal best heights. Coles finished with a height of 1.85 meters while James finished with a height of 1.75 meters.
• Kreinberg continued to dominate the meet, finishing with three new season best and 2026 NCAA ranked registered scores. She finished first in the heptathlon high jump with a height of 1.66 meters, third in the heptathlon javelin throw with a distance of 36.05 meters and first in the heptathlon shot put with a distance of 11.82 meters. In the javelin throw, first year Justin Victorio finished with a new personal best distance of 26.54 meters. In the women's side of the event, Ucar recorded a new personal best distance of 32.60 meters as she placed eighth. Rounding out the field events, sophomore Alyssa Orio recorded two new personal best distances in both the heptathlon long jump and heptathlon shot put. She finished with a distance of 3.95 meters in the long jump, while she finished with a distance of 6.43 meters in the shot put.

How it Happened

• Overall, 14 athletes recorded new personal bests and six athletes recorded new season best.
