POUGHKEPSIE, N.Y. - The FDU indoor track and field team took a trip out to Vassar College for their final meet before MAC Outdoor Championships Saturday afternoon.

Devils Highlights
- Kicking off the meet, junior Ty Wagner finished 11th in the 100m event with a final time of 11.72. In the 400m, sophomore Lucas Sorrentino finished 15th with a final time of 54.16, while junior Nathaniel Perrelli finished 18th with a final time of 54.37. Junior Luke Passarelli finished with a new personal best time of 2:05.18 in the 800m to finish off the track events.
- In the field events, junior Orlando Hernandez finished 13th in the discus throw event with a final distance of 27.66 meters. On the women's side of the event, first year Briana Sierra finished eighth with a final distance of 28.95 meters. She also finished with a final distance of 8.95 meters in the shot put event. Hernandez also competed in the shot put event and placed ninth with a final distance of 10.34 meters. Finally, junior Kai James finished third in the high jump event with a final height of 1.72 meters.
How it Happened
- Overall, three athletes finished in the top ten in their events, with only James finishing within the top three.
