MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - The FDU indoor track and field team were back in action at their second day of MAC Championships Friday morning.

Devils Highlights
- Kicking off the track events, the 4x100m relay team, consisting of juniors Nashawn Presley and Nathaniel Evely, sophomore Alex Coles and first year Anthony Collier, finished eighth in their event with a time 42.81. Additionally, this qualified the team for the 4x100m relay finals that take place tomorrow. In the 400m prelims, senior Bianca Burke qualified for the finals with a fourth-place finish and a final time of 58.53. In the 100m prelims, Evely finished 22nd with a time of 11.28 and Presley finished close behind in 24th with a time of 11.29. Evely also finished 11th in the 200m prelims with a time of 22.64.
- On the women's side of the event, Burke qualified for the finals with another fourth-place finish and a time of 25.79. Rounding out the track events, sophomores Meghan Kreinberg and Alyssa Orio competed in the heptathlon 800m event. Kreinberg finished sixth with a time of 2:46.92, while Orio finished seventh with a time of 2:53.60. Orio also raced in the 110m hurdles prelims and finished with a time of 18.73.
- In the field events, Kreinberg and Orio returned to compete in both the heptathlon long jump and javelin events. In the long jump, Kreinberg finished fourth with a final distance of 4.83 meters while Orio finished ninth with a final distance of 4.14 meters. In the javelin event, Kreinberg finished first with a final distance of 35.17 meters while Orio finished eighth with a final distance of 10.64 meters. Kreinberg also took second in the high jump finals with a height of 1.63 meters, which earned the Devils eight points towards their overall score.
- In the long jump finals, Collier finished seventh with a final distance of 6.62 meters, which earned the Devils two points. Collier also finished third and earned six points for the Devils with a final height of 1.93 meters. Additionally, Coles finished 10th with a final height of 1.77 meters while junior Chris Smith finished 12th with a final height of 1.72 meters. Rounding out the day for the Devils, junior Irem Ucar finished 21st in the discus finals with a distance of 29.29 meters.
How it Happened
- After the second day of the women's heptathlon, Kreinberg is sitting in second place overall while Orio is sitting eighth overall.
- Overall, the women's team sits ninth with 17 points and the men's team sits 10th with eight points.
