NEWTOWN, Pa. – FDU-Florham outdoor track & field first-year high jumper
Anthony Collier was named the men's track & field MAC Field Athlete of the Week the conference office announced Tuesday morning for his record-breaking performance at the TCNJ Invitational.
Collier, a Mount Olive, N.J. native set a new school record in the men's high jump Saturday afternoon at the TCNJ Invitational. The first-year jumper cleared 2.01 meters, breaking the old mark of 1.92 meters set by D'Maari Brown back on May 4, 2023.
Collier becomes the first high jumper in the program's record books to clear two meters and is now the topped ranked high jumper in the MAC. His 2.01 meters are also tied for 25
th best in the nation.
The Devils track & field team returns to action on Saturday, April 18 as FDU hosts the second Battle of Madison Ave. Field events are set to begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Senior Day celebration and track events to follow.
