YORK, Pa. – The FDU-Florham swim team completed their final day at MAC Championships on Sunday morning.
Devils Highlights
- Senior Michael Bang qualified for the 100-yard freestyle B final with a time of 49.32. On the women's side of this event, seniors Katelyn Plank, Magda Konopka, Lauren Stone, and sophomore Caitlyn Kramaritsch all managed to qualify for finals. Both Plank and Konopka qualified for the A final, with Plank finishes in seventh with a time of 54.54 and Konopka finishing eighth with a time of 54.97. Similarly, Stone and Kramaritsch qualified for the C final, finishing with times of 58.35 and 58.67.
- In the 200-yard backstroke, first year Jillian Rhyshek, sophomore Olivia Case, and senior Jessica Mooney all managed to qualify for evening finals. Rhyshek qualified for the A final with a time of 2:14.11, Case qualified for the B final with a time of 2:20.25, and Mooney qualified for the C final with a time of 2:23.59. Finally, senior Jackson Standridge and sophomore Olivia Glenfield both qualified for finals within the 200-yard breaststroke event. Glenfield qualified for the B final with a time of 2:36.18, while Standridge qualified for the C final with a time of 2:30.03.
- For the evening session, Bang swam in the 100-yard freestyle B final, finishing second with a time of 49.06. Konopka and Plank both swam in the 200-yard freestyle A final, with Konopka finishing sixth with a time of 54.36 and Plank finishing eighth with a time of 55.90. In the same event's C final, Stone finished seventh with a time of 58.71, while Kramaritsch finished eighth with a time of 59.44.
