YORK, Pa. – The FDU-Florham swim team continued their successful run at MAC Championships on Saturday morning.
Devils Highlights
- Senior AJ Vicidomini qualified for the 200-yard butterfly C final, finishing with a time of 2:14.07. Later in the morning, senior Katelyn Plank, first year Jillian Rhyshek, and sophomore Olivia Case all qualified for a final within the 100-yard backstroke event. Plank qualified for the A final with a time of 1:01.20, Rhyshek qualified for the B final with a time of 1:02.61, and Case qualified for the C final with a time of 1:05.15. In the 100-yard breaststroke event, seniors Michael Bang and Magda Konopka both qualified for their respective event's B final. Bang finished with a prelim time of 1:01.61, while Konopka finished with a prelim time of 1:09.50.
- For the afternoon session, Vicidomini swam in the 200-yard butterfly C final where he came first with a time of 2:09.66. Following this event, Plank, Rhyshek, and Case all swam in their respective final within the 100-yard backstroke event. Plank finished seventh in the A final with a time of 1:00.43, Rhyshek finished third in the B final with a time of 1:02.51, and Case finished fourth in the C final with a time of 1:05.12. For the last of the individual finals, Bang and Konopka both competed in their respective B finals. Bang placed first in his final with a time of 1:00.86, while Konopka placed second in her final with a time of 1:09.89.
