New York, NY (January 25)- In Dr. Sander Scorcher Meet hosted by Armory Track, three FDU-Devils Men's Track & Field athletes qualified to enter the meet with their performances from the two meets earlier in the season.
Competing in the 60m Open was
Nashawn Presley (Irvington, NJ) and
Nathaniel Evely (Bogota, NJ) who stacked up on the line next to each other. Presley was first to cross the line with a rounded time of 7.30 (7.298) for 29
th in the open, while Evely was one second off for 31st in the open with a time of 7.31.
Senior
Joseph Teresi (Ocean Twp, NJ) qualified for the Shot Put Open and placed fifth overall with a throw of 14.75m as the only Division III athlete to participate in the open event.
FDU-Florham looks to next weekend, Saturday February 1st, for their next meet at the Alvernia PLEX Shootout.
