READING, Pa.– The FDU indoor track and field enjoyed a trip to Alvernia University for the PLEX Shootout on Saturday morning.
 
Devils Highlights

• Junior Briella Bagnato started the day off strong for the Devils, finishing third in the 5000m event. She finished with a new personal best final time of 19:58.89, beating out her previous season time of 20:33.33. Following this, the men's 4x200m relay team, comprised of juniors Nathaniel Evely and Ty Wagner, sophomore Alex Coles, and first year Anthony Collier, posted a new season best as they finished 8^th in the event. Their final time of 1:35.51 not only places them third overall in the school record books, but also tops their previous time almost three seconds. Additionally, Evely earns an 8^th place finish in the 200m event with a final time of 23.45.
• Later on in the meet, senior Biance Burke broke the school record for the 400m event with a final time of 1:00.71. She managed to break her own standing record by an impressive margin of .22 of a second. Following this impressive display, Burke later goes on to place 4^th in the 200m event with a season best time of 27.21. Keeping with the women's side, Bagnato has a strong finish in the 3000m event, placing 9^th with a final time of 11:34.01. Rounding out the track events, the men's 4x400m relay team recorded a season best time of 3:43.58. The team was comprised of Evely, juniors Nathaniel Perrelli and Luke Passarelli, and sophomore Lucas Sorrentino.
• For the field events, sophomore Meghan Kreinberg had two second place finishes to add to the team's impressive day. In the High Jump event, Kreinberg finished with a final distance of 1.60m. In the Shot-Put event, she finished with a final distance of 12.35m, which placed her at 71^st in the top 100 DIII Shot-Put distances of 2026.

How it Happened

• Overall, the Devils had four top three finishes, as well as nine top 10 finishes.
• Additionally, both teams had a combined 17 new personal best records.
