New York, NY (December 7)- In its first meet of the 2024-25 indoor season, the FDU-Florham Men's Track & Field Team participated in the TCNJ Indoor Open, and school record and MAC qualifications were met.

To start the first meet of the season, the 60m prelims showed
Nashawn Presley (Irvington, NJ) take 18
th overall with a time of 7.27 and MAC Qualification. Classmate
Nathaniel Evely (Bogota, NJ) was just behind as he finish a tenth of a second later (7.37) for 27th place.
Chigbo Mbaekwe rounded out the event for the Devils with a time of 7.90 and 46th overall.

In he 300m, it was Evely who was the only one to compete and finish for the Devils. He clocked a 37.19 for 17th place and also a new school record.

Diego Molina (Sayreville, NJ) had a top 10 finish as he made the mark with a time of 54.13 in the 400m. Next across was
Nathaniel Perrelli (Fanwood, NJ) who came in 12th with a time of 54.98.
Norbert Martinez (Roxbury, NJ) made his collegiate debut and finished in 16th with a time of 1:01.43.

Emmanuel Torode (Roxbury, NJ) started his junior season with a school record in the one mile as he clocked a time of 4:58.64 for 14th overall.
Evan McGinnity made his collegiate debut on the track with a time of 5:07.52 (16th).
Beckett Burcat (Basking Ridge, NJ) and
Shane Breedlove (Richmond, VA)Â also ran the four consecutive laps for times of 5:21.61 (18th) and 5:35.14 (19th).

Rounding out the track events for the meet was team consisting of Perrelli, Presley, Martinez, and Molina in the 4x400m relay as they crossed the line for a collective time pf 3:38.67 for 9th overall.

Senior
Joseph Teresi (Ocean Twp, NJ) was able to secure his spot in the MAC Championship already with a throw in the shot put of 15.35m.

FDU-Florham will have winter break to recover before heading back to the Amory for the Ramapo Indoor Season Opener on Friday, January 17 at 10am.
