Kansas City, Mo. (July 28) - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2020-21 NABC Honors Court, recognizing men's collegiate basketball student-athletes in all NCAA divisions and the NAIA, who excelled in academics during the past season. The NABC Honors Court highlights the talents and gifts that these men possess on the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
For the second consecutive season,
Oliver Ortman (North Caldwell, NJ) earned the honor from the NABC, while
Tommy Drubulis (Fanwood, NJ) was named to the Honors Court for the first time. Ortman and Drubulis, who are both sports administration majors at FDU, also earned spots on the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Academic Honor Roll this year.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria including being a junior or senior and a varsity player academically, having a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year and they must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
