Madison, NJ (November 21) – The FDU-Florham women's swimming team topped Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) rival Stevenson University this afternoon by a score of 114-49.

During today's dual meet, the Devils honored seniors Anna Hess (Portsmouth, NH) and Gianna Ritto (Hainesport, NJ) for their contributions towards the team. FDU closed its fall semester dual meet schedule with a 3-0 record after today's victory.

In their senior meets, Hess placed fourth in the 50-free (34.79), while Ritto took second in the 100-fly (1:17.87) and third in the 200-free (2:29.92). 
 
FDU began today's meet with a first place finish in the 200-medley relay as Sarah Dougherty (Kinnelon, NJ), Paige Strangeway (Green Township, NJ), Julianna Fazzio (Glassboro, NJ) and Emily Maciejewski (Wall, NJ) clocked a time of 2:02.64.
 
Dougherty went on to clock the second fastest time in the MAC this year in the 200-IM as she won the race in a time of 2:18.91, which sits 0.52-seconds behind Katelyn Boyce from Messiah University for tops in the league. Dougherty also claimed a win in the 100-back with a time of 1:04.02.
 
Emma Dougherty (Kinnelon, NJ) also claimed a pair of wins in today's dual meet as she clocked a time of 2:07.10 in the 200-free and 5:37.32 in the 500-free. 

After her swim in the opening relay, Fazzio went on to win the 100-free in 58.15 and swam to a second place finish in the 200-IM in 2:21.36.

Two other Devils claimed individual wins in today's dual as Sarah Jurimas (Delran, NJ) won the 1000-free in 13:07.79 and Maciejewski won the 50-free in 27.19. Strangeway also posted the fastest time today in the 100-breast (1:18.35) with an exhibition swim.
 
The Devils, who swam the final relay as an exhibition swim, clocked the fastest time in the event as E. Dougherty, Jurimas, Mikayla DeMarco (Bayville, NJ) and Liz Briles (Glassboro, NJ) posted a time of 1:54.90.
 
FDU will wrap up the first half of the year on December 3rd and 4th at the Drew University Invitational. A full schedule of events will be posted on fdudevils.com as the meet gets closer.
