Madison, NJ- FDU Florham Director of Athletics,
Jenn Noon announced the promotion of
Jesse Boyland to Interim Head Athletic Trainer, effective immediately. Jesse has served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the past two years on the Florham campus helping assist with all 19 NCAA varsity sports teams.

"I'm excited and ready to take on whatever athletics needs me to do to help us thrive during these uncertain times," said Boyland. "We will continue to give our student-athletes the best and safest patient care we possibly can."

During his two years with Devils Athletics, Boyland has created great relationships with every head coach and student-athlete in the athletics department, as well as the FDU strength and conditioning staff. These attributes coupled with his knowledge of the athletics programs and standards in Devils Athletics, allow for him to easily transition into the Head Athletic Trainer role.

Prior to joining the Devils, Boyland completed his master's degree in Athletic Training at Seton Hall University. While at Seton Hall, he worked with Delbarton and West Morris High Schools, Drew University and the Rutgers University Football.

Before Seton Hall, Boyland attended Virginia Tech University, graduating in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise. While at Virginia Tech, he worked with several of the athletic teams, with his primary roll as the women's lacrosse Student Athletic Trainer Aide.
