RESULTS
WAYNE, N.J. (November 2, 2019) – The FDU women's swim team was knocked off by host William Paterson University 111-101 Saturday afternoon.

Emma Dougherty,
Sarah Dougherty, and
Paige Strangeway along with junior
Molly Miller turned in a second-place time of 2:03.44 in the 200-medley relay. Miller rebounded by claiming first place in both the 1,000 and the 500-yard freestyle. The junior touched the wall in 11:17 in the 1,000 in winning by 1:43 before winning the 500 in 5:28.31.
Emma Dougherty claimed first by over four seconds in the 200-free, winning in 2:11.25. Emma also took second in the 100-yard backstroke, losing to sister Sarah who claimed first in 1:04.54. Emma's time was just under four seconds slower.
Sarah Dougherty made it 2-for-2 in individual events, touching the wall in 2:21.12 in the 200-yard IM.
Strangeway garnered a pair of second-place times, finishing second in the 100-freestyle (1:05.58) and the 100-backstroke (1:20.82). Fellow rookie
Emily Maciejewski was second in the 50-free (28.23) and third in the 100-yard back (1:12.67). Freshman
Sarah Jurimas recorded a pair of third-place times in the 100-free and the 200-free while sophomore
Gianna Ritto was third in the 500-free and the 100-yard butterfly. The Devils closed out the afternoon with a first-place finish in the 200-freestyle relay. Maciejewski, Ritto, Jurimas, and sophomore
Munro McLaren touched the wall in 1:59.73.
