STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (December 8, 2018) - For the second straight season, sophomore
Molly Miller set a College of Staten Island pool record, but the FDU-Florham women's swim team was topped by CSI 91-61 Saturday.
Miller registered a time of 11:08.19 in the 1,000-freestyle, winning the event by nearly three minutes. Last season, she set the CSI pool record in the same event, recording a time of 11:12.18. The sophomore also claimed first place in the 500-freestyle, notching a time of 5:28.62. Miller also swam lead-off in the 200-freestyle relay, as her and freshmen

Anna Hess and
Munro McLaren won with a mark of 2:02.35.
Ritto picked up a first place time of 2:26.71 in the 200-yard freestyle, the first time she has swam that event this season. The rookie also won the 100-yard backstroke turning in a time of 1:16.95 which was nearly nine seconds better than second place.
Hess tallied a pair of second place times in the 200-yard IM (3:03.3) and the 100-breaststroke (1:33.53). McLaren registered two third place times, touching third in the 50-free (31.8) and the 100-free (1:14.08). She missed second place by a mere .52 seconds.
FDU returns to the pool on January 5, traveling to take on Western Connecticut at 12 p.m.
