MADISON, N.J. (October 19, 2018) - The FDU-Florham women's swim team was topped by William Paterson 96-54 Friday evening.
Sophomore
Molly Miller claimed first place in the 200-freestyle, turning in a time of 2:02.74. Her time was nearly 18 seconds better than second, but also qualified her for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet in February. The sophomore also took home first in the 500-free, notching a time of 5:29.39. Miller was the lead in the 200-freestyle relay, taking first with a time of 2:13.88 with freshmen
Gianna Ritto,
Erika Barandica and
Munro McLaren.
Ritto registered a first place of 1:16.01 in the 100-yard backstroke, and also claimed first in the in the 100-breaststroke. The rookie turned in a time of 1:32.28 in th event. McLaren gave the team three points with a third place time of 32.69 in the 50-free and 100-free with a mark of 1:16.51.
FDU is off until November 17 when they head to Staten Island, N.Y. to take on the College of Staten at 12 p.m.
