DALLAS, Pa. (October 28, 2017) - The FDU women's swim team was knocked off by Arcadia and Misericordia in tri-meet action Saturday.

The Devils were upended 199-52 by Arcadia and 174-68 by Misericordia.

FDU opened with a solid third place time of 4:27.44 in the 400 medley relay, which included senior Sarah Bennett, freshmen Grace Douglas and Molly Miller along with junior Mackenzie Doherty. Miller picked up first in the 1000-freestyle, winning in 11:20.39. She bested the field by more than eight seconds.

Douglas was fourth in the 100-backstroke, while Doherty nabbed a third place time of 1:18.44 in the 100-breaststroke. Miller claimed second in the 500-yard freestyle turning in a time of 5:28.08. The freshman settled for second in the 100-fly, finishing in 1:03.9 which was .86 seconds out of first.

FDU is back in action next Saturday, taking on the College of Staten Island at 1 p.m.
