GLENSIDE, PA – The FDU-Florham women's swim team was defeated by Arcadia University 207-42 and then 192-44 to the Misericordia University Cougars on Saturday afternoon in Glenside, Pa.

Sarah Bennett had the biggest splash in the water for the Devils as she placed third in three of her races.

Bennett's first event was the 50-yard freestyle and she posted a time of 27.34. The sophomore swimmer was then just narrowly edged out by a Cougars' swimmer and took third in the 100-yard freestyle with her time of 59.21. Her final solo event of the afternoon was the 100-yard butterfly and she placed third with a final time of 1:07.25.

The Devils opened up the meet with a fifth place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. Sophomore Sarah LeChard posted an incredible time of 18.52, which was the best individual time of the event out of the 23 other swimmers.

Freshman Mackenzie Doherty added a fourth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle for FDU-Florham with a time of 2:10.21.

The Devils will be back in action on Saturday, November 7 for a meet with Messiah College, Widener University and Hood College. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.
