MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted The Children's Institute (TCI) from Verona, N.J. on Wednesday morning for a day of fun-filled athletic events.
The event, that has spanned over 15 years and takes place during NCAA Division III Week, featured student-athletes from across all of the Devils athletic teams. TCI is dedicated to promoting the well-being of children, young people and their families and to providing services that meet their special needs.
The FDU-Florham athletes entertained the TCI students and guided them in several different sports stations throughout the morning. The TCI students rotated around each of the stations which included the following sports: golf, football, lacrosse, basketball, field hockey, volleyball, relay races and soccer.
The Devils host this fantastic event each year, which is always a great experience for those involved and an unforgettable day for the students. The day concluded with a pizza party for the students and staff, along with the annual group photo. This year over 150 students participated in the event.
