Box Score MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham Devils men's lacrosse team improved to 3-2 on the season with a 20-3 rout of the SUNY Cobleskill Fighting Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Robert T. Shields Field.

Frank Reda (Hauppauge, N.Y./Smithtown West) added to his outstanding start to the season by netting a game-high six goals in the win. Four Devils tallied hat tricks in the game, as the Devils outshot the Fighting Tigers 55 to 21 on the afternoon.
After a 1-1 tie through one quarter of play, the Devils offense exploded with seven goals in the second quarter to grab an 8-2 lead at intermission. In the second period, Reda picked up three goals, while talented freshman
Dan Decker (East Setuaket, N.Y./Ward Melville) netted two goals.
The second half was more of the same for FDU-Florham, as freshman midfielder
Matt Melnik (Clifton, N.J./Clifton) scored the first of seven-unanswered goals by the Devils, which resulted in a 15-2 advantage. With 1:05 to play in the third quarter, the Fighting Tigers finally broke the streak but the damage had been done. The Devils blanked the Fighting Tigers 5-0 in the fourth quarter to lock up the one-sided victory.
Decker finished the game with three goals and five ground balls, Melnik added three goals and three asssits, and sophomore attacker
Daniel Minnich (Laurys Station, Pa./Parkland) chipped in with three goals in the win. Freshman
Max Sprauer notched two goals for the Fighting Tigers in defeat.
