MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham men's lacrosse team dropped its final game of the season 20-7 to Arcadia University Saturday afternoon at home. 
 
DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Christopher Scheublin and Justin Perillo each tallied three points on two goals and one assist. 
• Anthony DiGiacomo netted one goal and recorded one assist for two points. 
• Luke Dugan and Joseph Carbo netted one goal apiece. 
• Anthony Giardina had four ground balls and Trevor Reid tallied four caused turnovers. 
• Goalkeeper Anthony Pieroni had 12 saves. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Devils went up 1-0 in the first period on a goal from Scheublin on an assist from Perillo, but the Knights answered with an unassisted goal from TJ Shillingford to knot the game at 1-1 with 7:16 to go in the period. 
• With 3:33 remaining, Dugan netted his second of the game to put the Devils ahead 2-1but once again, Arcadia answered back and sent the game to the second knotted at 2-2. 
• In the second, the Knights took a 4-2 lead on back-to-back goals, but a goal from Carbo cut it to just a 4-3 deficit for the Devils. 
• Despite a goal from DiGiacomo, Arcadia scored three more times and took a 7-4 lead into the break. 
• After the half, the Knights broke the game open with five straight goals in the third before FDU could answer with the team's fifth goal from Perillo to make it 12-5 with 5:53 to go in the third. 
• The Knights went onto score seven more times before an answer from Scheublin in the fourth as his second goal cut it to a 19-6 contest with 11:48 left in regulation. 
• Perillo netted the Devils' seventh goal of the game, but Arcadia reached the round number of 20 goals in the game and downed FDU 20-7 in the end.

GAME NOTES

• Perillo tallied at least one point in all 17 games for the Devils this season. 
• Giardina 10 or more face off wins six times this season. 
• Pieroni made 10 or more saves in a game nine times this year.  

The Devils end their 2026 campaign with a final record of 8-9. This was their second most wins in a season since 2017 when the Devils finished with the same 8-9 record. The program's most wins in that span was 10 in 2025.
