MADISON, N.J. – The FDU-Florham men's lacrosse team dropped a 16-6 contest to DeSales University Wednesday night at home. 
 
DEVILS HIGHLIGHTS

• Anthony DiGiacomo and Luke Dugan each scored twice with Dugan adding one assist. 
• Joseph Carbo netted one goal and two assists. 
• Justin Perillo scored once and added one assist to his ledger. 
• Goalkeeper Anthony Pieroni recorded 12 saves

HOW IT HAPPENED

• DeSales drew first blood in the first period as Blake Finnegan found the back of the FDU net to put the Bulldogs up 1-0. 
• Dugan answered with his first of the night followed by Carbo's only goal of the contest to take a 2-1 lead with 8:26 left in the first. 
• DeSales quickly knotted things up at two with a goal from Jake Hurd followed by two more to put the Bulldogs ahead 4-2. 
• Two consecutive goals from DiGiacomo tied the game at four apiece heading to the third period. 
• DeSales then scored four unanswered goals in the second period to take an 8-4 lead into the break. 
• After the Bulldogs' fifth straight goal with 9:32 left to play in the third, Dugan answered with his second goal of the contest on an assist from Perillo. 
• Perillo then put the Devils one goal closer with his first of the game to make it 9-6 heading to the final period. 
• What began as a close contest quickly unraveled for the Devils as DeSales put up a seven spot in the fourth period to down FDU 16-6. 

GAME NOTES

• Dugan now has at least one goal in six straight games and at least two goals in three straight. 
• This is Pieroni's eighth contest this year with 10 or more saves.

FDU returns to action on Saturday, April 25 as the Devils celebrate Senior Day and take on the Arcadia Knights. First face-off is set for 1 p.m.
