Tim Zangara made 16 stops in cage to lead the College at Florham Devils over Manhattanville by a score of 12-6 in Freedom Conference action on Tuesday evening.
With the win, the Devils improved to 4-11 (2-3 Freedom) while the Valiants dropped to 0-15 (0-5 Freedom).
After Manhattanville scored the first goal of the game, FDU reeled off the next eight goals to grab an 8-1 advantage with 10:55 left in the second quarter. Higgins and Reda scored three goals apiece to lead the spurt. The Valiants tallied two of the final three goals of the half to pull to within 9-3 entering the break.
The Devils returned the favor in the third quarter by scoring two of the three goals, thanks to Weiss and Yobbi, to take and 11-4 lead into the fourth quarter. Manhattanville cut it to 11-5 with 11:49 to go but Reda got that goal back three minutes later to put FDU back up seven, 12-5. The scored stayed that way until the Valiants found the back of the net with 1:45 left but the Devils had wrapped things up by that time to earn the victory.

Michael Rosellini went 11-for-13 on faceoffs and picked up six ground balls while senior midfielder
Ryan Reuther was 8-of-9 on faceoffs and notched eight ground balls.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at home for Senior Day against King's beginning at 1 pm.
